Little Fish, Sushi in the Sticks
From delicate sashimi to flavour-packed bao, Little Fish delivers fresh, seasonal sushi!

If you’ve been around here a while, you’ll know I only ever share food and experiences I truly love — and today’s post is a delicious one. This was a gifted PR box from Little Fish, and the post contains an affiliate link (which means if you order through my link, I may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you). That said, you know me — I’d never recommend something I wouldn’t happily order myself, and this Autumn menu is absolutely worth talking about!
A Mission That Matches the Flavour
Little Fish, Sushi in the Sticks was created to solve a problem many of us know well: why should exceptional sushi be limited to city restaurants? Their mission is to bring restaurant-quality sushi to towns and villages, with sustainability and local sourcing at the heart of what they do. Everything is built around the idea that food should be excellent without exception, but also creative, evolving, and fun.
Menus change with the seasons, guided by Head Chef Neil Witney, which means there’s always something new to discover. And now, with autumn settling in, the latest menu has arrived — cosy, vibrant, and perfect for nights in as the evenings draw closer.
Delivery Made Easy
Ordering couldn’t be simpler. You can collect from a convenient local pick-up point with a £25 minimum spend, or have it delivered right to your door if you’re in the South of England. My order came via the aptly named Wasabi Wagon, sushi vans and arrived perfectly packaged and ready to serve. Delivery requires a £50 minimum spend, but considering the feast you get, it’s well worth it.

The attention to detail is brilliant too: mains arrive with clear, easy heating instructions via QR code on the lids, and the whole menu is marked up with the best way to enjoy each dish — whether warm, room temperature, or chilled. It’s those touches that make the experience feel restaurant-like even when you’re at home in your comfies!
A Taste of the Autumn Menu

The Autumn box arrived looking beautiful, and every dish was as impressive to eat as it was to unwrap. The sushi selection alone could have stolen the show, with buttery Hamachi and chu toro sashimi, smoky nori-seared salmon tataki (a personal must-try), and a Malibu crab and coconut roll that brought a playful tropical twist. The Hurricane Roll quickly became my favourite — bold and punchy without overpowering — while the salmon, cucumber and cream cheese maki delivered a comforting classic with a Little Fish polish.

Of course, sushi is only the beginning. The warming mains are designed with autumn in mind. I tucked into a fiery but balanced Szechuan Kung Pao chicken, rich and hearty beef massaman curry, and their Little Fish fried rice that pairs happily with everything on the table. The mini Asian fishcakes were light, punchy and fragrant, while the hoisin and plum tofu steak bao bun brought just the right mix of sweet and savoury inside its fluffy bun.

Thai fishcakes, Beef Massaman curry, Little Fish fried rice, Kung Pao Chicken, Jasmine Rice and Bao Bun!
And yes, dessert was very much part of the package. A coconut and kaffir lime pannacotta offered a refreshing, creamy finish, while the mochi selection — cookies and cream for fun, pistachio and Dubai chocolate for indulgence — made it hard to choose a favourite.

Why It’s Worth Trying
What I love most about Little Fish is how well they balance quality and creativity. The food itself rivals anything you’d find in the city, but you get to enjoy it in the comfort of your own home, whether that’s a girls’ night, a date night, or just an evening curled up with a blanket. The fact that they’re so rooted in sustainability and constantly evolving with new seasonal menus makes each order feel like something special.
