Princess Dining at Disneyland Paris - Auberge de Cendrillon!
Get ready for a delicious French royal meal in the company of the Disney Princesses in the majestic Auberge de Cendrillon in Disneyland Paris!

I'm lucky enough to have visited Disneyland Paris twice in the last 4 years, and on both occasions I've learnt that the character dining experiences are a must do activity! They are a fantastic way to meet characters, saving time on queuing otherwise, and to enjoy some delicious Disney food, themes and service!
Visiting with my family including 2 young nieces, the Princess dining experience at Auberge de Cendrillon was first on the wish list! Believe me, the adults were equally excited about this!

The restaurant is located in Fantasyland and serves French fine dining dishes for lunch & dinner in surroundings fit for princes and princesses who are encouraged to dress for the occasion! Be ready to enjoy your royal meal in the company of Cinderella and her Disney princess friends in the majestic medieval styled banquet hall. A fantastic way to meet some beloved characters, enjoy delicious food and feel like Disney royalty!
Auberge de Cendrillon
Inspired by the stately home of Tremaine, Cinderella's Stepmother, the restaurant is stunning and superbly themed throughout! You enter through a stone archway into a lovely reception area decorated with fairy-tale tapestries before being shown to your table in the banqueting rooms.
The rooms are adorned with house flags, Disney artwork, fireplaces, stunning stained-glass windows and you may have a view of the courtyard where Cinderella's pumpkin carriage can be found! There are also so many small details to spot, like pumpkin chandeliers and carriage crests - look around and see what you can discover! To maintain an elegance, the room is split into sections cleverly. If possible try to get a table in the main hall - as this way you'll see more of the princesses floating than you'd get to see from the side rooms!

The restaurant is more formal than a lot of restaurants in the park. You don't need to dress any differently than you would for the park day (I wore wintery tights, skirt and sweatshirt), but it is encouraged for children to dress up. I saw the cutest little prince charming when I visited and the princesses loved being able to interact based on that outfit!
Auberge de Cendrillion can be selected on the Disney dining plan - which does also allow you to make a booking up to 6 months in advance which I'd highly recommend as it's extremely popular! If you have standard or plus plan, you can use your meal voucher for the meal and pay a surplus. If you opted for the Premium dining plan the meal will be included. Drinks can have additional cost. If you have no Disney dining plan you will need to pay full price - €95 per adult and €50 for children (infants under 3 are free) - so definitely something to factor into the holiday budget!
The Food!
Diners can select their preferred dishes from a three course menu along with a soft drink, which is then served by wonderful waiting staff unlike many other restaurants which are a buffet. We were all presented with a welcome Royal Cocktail drink and an amuse bouche of Cheese madeleines to start, which were still warm from the oven!
For my meal I selected the pumpkin soup with a pumpkin puree base, cep mushrooms and pumpkin seeds. I love how the puree is shaped on the base of the dish before the waiters pour on the delicious soup. This was the perfect starter for me, especially as it was a cold day. The waitress even sung Bibbity Bobbity Boo as she poured our soup!

For my main I selected the roasted supreme of chicken, with a rich morel mushroom sauce, glazed carrots and a cheesy mashed potato. There was plenty of chicken on the dish, with multi coloured carrots and the sauce was deliciously rich and full of savoury umami-ness!
For the dessert I went for the 30th Anniversary Celebration Cake. This was a white chocolate mousse cake with a strawberry and almond shortbread centre. This was beautifully balanced so it wasn't too sweet.
Family selected different options off the menu, which looked amazing and were reportedly delicious as well!

Duck, Pear and Chestnut Pâté en Croûte with Fig and Meaux Mustard Chutney/Pan-Fried Turbot Fillet in a Champagne Sauce, Braised Leeks and Asparagus
The children also get to select their dishes from a three course menu including a Fairy Canapé starter of pumpkin soup with and open cheese sandwich, a main roasted chicken with crushed violet potatoes and Mickey shaped vegetables followed by a Mickey mini Dome of chocolate sponge, mousse and orange compote!

Princess Interactions
Apart from queuing at the Princess Pavillion (where times are often 2 hours +!), dining at Auberge is the only way to meet the princesses for photos and autographs. You are guaranteed to meet Suzy & Perla, Cinderella's mice friends who help her get ready for the ball and Cinderella herself, plus 3 other Disney Princesses. These do change, so there isn't a guarantee of meeting yours or your child's favourite necessarily. On the day we visited we met Suzy, Perla, Cinderella, Snow White, Aurora and Ariel.

Each princess will come to each table of diners to chat, sign autographs and pose for photos with children & adults. They are extremely clever at not missing a table, and they have handlers to assist with moving around the room. They are absolutely wonderful with their interactions, to truly make some magical moments for you all.

Ariel chatted to them about their Encanto dresses and how she knows Mirabel and would say hello to her for them, whilst Cinderella asked about their day and favourite things they had done. They even got to twirl and dance with princesses and the mice. I was even able to get a photo with Cinderella who loved my homemade sweater!

Verdict
For me the princess lunch is absolutely worth the money for the wonderful memories that you will create and I can't recommend it enough. The food is absolutely fantastic, the staff are so welcoming and attentive and the atmosphere is magical. I will always remember seeing my nieces' faces when they met and enjoyed such special interactions with some of their favourite princesses, which makes it so worthwhile.
